Newbie’s Internet Guide was created because I was angry. I have been contacted by so many people who have been “taken” by the so-called “Gurus” of the Internet world. These people are sold on promoting a website’s (company’s) product without being told what they REALLY should be doing. All the work these poor newbies do is directed to making the originating company profitable. You want to make money for yourself…right? Then, stop filling the pockets of these scam artists!
How do you do that? Well, I’m going to give you some ideas. I’ll set down some step-by-step instructions for you to follow — at your own pace. I’ll be happy to help you along the way. You can contact me via my Help Desk.
Here are the initial steps we are going to take:
- What are your “money” goals? How much money do you want to make?
- Finding your general niche.
- Narrowing it down.
- Find a domain name.
- Look at your competition.
- Write TONS of articles for content and traffic.
- Find a product, either an affiliate product or your own.
- Create your website.
- Find website hosting.
- Set up a blog.
- Set up your “Sales” site.
- Set up your Squidoo lens.
- Launch your site.
- Promote, promote, promote!
I’ll tell you right right now…it’s not going to be easy. I don’t care how many times you see a sales pitch for “an easy way” to make money online. They’re lying! You will have to work…hard. You will have to be persistent…don’t give up! And, you will have to learn…never, ever stop learning! Technology is changing every day on the Internet. You have to keep up or you’ll get left behind.
